Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. The majority of her early years listening to music from the past Boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic music and old classical pieces. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as the dramatic and opera performances. She was taught by her mother to sing. However, she started intensive vocal training through Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. he was a renowned Mexican opera Tenor. She studied in Guadalajara at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was a member of many chamber and opera choirs. After relocating into the United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present place in southern California. She's a frequent solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions, performing traditional Latin American Music. as a music teacher and musician, she is committed to many projects in the community due to her enthusiasm and passion for music. Ana was also a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is presently a professor in the Performance Loft. Ana feels privileged to have the opportunity to be able to share her love for traditional Latin American music. She hopes that this will inspire younger generations to keep the tradition alive.
